Nice trade...Nice to get another 2nd rounder next season. New regime is building. And we still have 2, 3rd rounders
So the Jets werent willing to take a risk on a RT with many lingering issues, and potential question mark of an RB. All they do is move down in a very deep draft, pick up an extra pick this year, and will still get a great pick in the 50s. You will be kissing the FOs asses when our extra 2nd round pick next year gives them wonderful flexability. How is this bad??!
my problem isnt necc. the trade but the fact we could have drafted chad jackson and helped stretch the field a bit.
Now we have that much more incentive to rool for Snyder's team to flop....with a little luck, next year's #2 could be under 40.
We traded down to get Croyle or Clemens........its all about value...they didn't want to use a high second round pick for something that will be there at 53...............very smart....,
Move down 18 spots for a 2nd round pick is a just fine with me. We must not be too crazy about anyone right now. Are we going to pull the sneak move and take Clemmons?
this is a good trade for this year and next year. we might be able to use the 189th oick to move up somewhere today. Ans next year we have 2 number 2's.
I think if Carpenter was there the FO would not have traded. At 53 I think they pick up that QB Clemens. Another 6th, that we gave up for Ramsey by the way, so really we got Ramsey for NOTHING. And a 2nd for next year. Very good trade.
This is an astounding trade, and further proof that Daniel Snyder has no respect for the value of a draft pick.
Anybody who says this is a bad trade for the jets is DUMB, seriously if you question the trade you must not have any common sense at all.It is obvious that the Jets can get Qb Clemens at that spot and to get a 2nd rounder next year is a huge bonus. Plus we get a 6th rounder which we didnt have(because we traded for Ramsey).I am sure Justice will still be there and I do not think we will pick him anyway.I was hoping we pick Justice but I am over that hope. There will be better OT who will not be as troubled as Justice.Remember when Antaaj Hawthorne dropped, he droppped all the way out and now he is in NFL Europe. Justice could go the same way.
