Is Tory Holt available? I still think T.O is the best thats available.

Mangini may be a conservatist BUT he also knows what it takes to win.

I know Tory Holt isn't available. The point I was making is that TO will never be on this team because he breaks them up...did it in San Fran...did it in Philadelphia...he will do it again...and it will not be with the Jets

We need winners enough of the Browning Nagles and the washed up Ronnie Lotts.I want this team to WIN dammit and so should all of you.Our recievers are not that good and we need to improve them if we can.T.O is 10 times better than any reciever we have.Like him or not.

Terrell Owens going to a rebuilding team? Makes no sense.

It's no use in arguing with you because you don't realize the damage a guy like TO can do on a team like the Jets...he will split the lockeroom and cause problems for the front office. He is good on the field no doubt, but at the end of the day he isn't worth having on the team...ask Sanfran and Philly

Why do you not want the best reciever available on your team?
Last year in 7 games T.O had more Tds than the entire recievers did all year.
It wont matter if you bring in Payton Manning without recievers hes nothing.
Why do you think defenses key on Martin they know hes our only offense.

If T.O. really is rebuilding and can be a team plaer, im with you. But im not convinced, and penny is right, he hurts his teams more than he helps them.

Whoa whoa whoa. I gotta draw the line somewhere. You're letting TO's personality cloud your judgment. I don't think you can really make an argument for Tory Holt as the best receiver in the league. The most consistent, sure. But the best? No one outside of the Jets' organization thinks that Curtis Martin is the best in the league or at any point ever was the best in the league. He's a stand-up guy and a very consistent player, but Curtis was never the best. Same with Tory Holt.

TO, with the exception of last season obviously, has either been the best or 2nd best receiver in the NFL (maybe behind that other head case Randy Moss).

The only other player I can see even being considered the best in the league right now is Chad Johnson.

Owens is too old to change. He'll even be more crazy if he joins the Jets. At this point in his life he needs to play for a good team or not play at all.

I was just wondering, have the jets ever had a big showoff on the team?

Mark Gastineau. You bring up another point. No way would the Jets bring in this exceptionally good player/clown when they have a rookie head coach.

Why in Gods name are we even talking about TO? Those of you that choose to disagree with this guy is the reason this useless thread stays alive. sigh.....I will be soooo glad when the draft is over. Maybe then we will have some real topics to discuss. Unlike the useless threads that pop up over and over.....

I like you, jetsfan5180, i just don't think that right now what this team needs is a cancer to young guys that will we be bringing in through the draft. I think we are in need of a make-plays WR, yes. But not TO. Interesting thought, though.

Bringing TO to the New York metro area is like giving Liza Minnelli the keys to a pharmaceutical warehouse.
