People hate me, Dino, Tony, Petro, Cman, and all the other Mods who are on regularly. I guess that means we're doing a good job. I'd choose to be in a group with them all day.
Meh...maybe just a suspension...although if I don't get the job back I will just have to get some other Mods to whack you.
Not sure what the qualifications to be a mod are, so maybe you can enlighten me. But in my two months on the board, I find Green Hornet and Death by Jets to be the most level-headed posters and I would nominate them. I like Abyzmul, too, but I don't want him distracted from his vinegar-laden posts that keep everyone in line.
I'm just wondering why Jollygreenjet is a mod. He's not here as often as most good posters here, doesn't have 1,000 posts, I've never seen him ban anyone, and he still has an anti-Bradway sig. I know he was one of the first to join, but...
I don't hate you, but I think it is interesting that you think being hated means you are doing a good job. Sounds a bit skewed to me...
Because being a mod isn't just about being a post whore here. Jollygreenjet is a great poster when he is around, and is extremely level-headed. Not to mention he has been around so long, he knows how the site should be run better than most all of us. If moderation were based on time on and post counts alone, it would be terribly run by a bunch of post whores.
