I saw some good plays by Ducasse and I also saw some where he allowed guys to get to the QB. So its mixed.
I didn't pay much attention to Vlad last night since I didn't want to miss anything with Geno, but I have read on here and other sites that he did well until he got hurt. We'll see.
Any word on the extent of the Ducasse injury? hope he's okay. Did Winters look okay backing up Ducasse ?
It's pretty pathetic that the media hasn't reported on this yet OR that there hasn't been more of an outcry from fans. Guy has had a great offseason & was making tremendous strides. Damn the media & idiotic fan base's Quarterback obsession.

Winters looked OK. He did a nice job pulling to lead block on a run right after entering the game. Nothing outstanding to make you think Jets have a stud on their hands but at least he looks good enough to justify the roster spot. Not gonna be a case where somebody is totally useless but guaranteed a roster spot based on where they were drafted.
On behalf of Defensive Ends and ROLB's across the league, Thank You for choosing Vlad Ducasse to protect {insert qb name here}'s blind side. He has almost gotten Sanchez killed before and should be able to deliver the same brilliant pass protection for Sanchez 2.0 (aka Geno Smith).
