I don't, I expect us to lose. Vick and Smith both suck and the Jets are the only team in the NFL where either of them would ever have a chance to start. Maybe Vick gets hurt so we can finally bring Simms back to the active roster. I want to see what the young kid can do when getting the reps and game plan. We know what Vick is and that is a washed up turn over machine who couldn't complete 60% if his life depended on it. As for Smith, see avatar to the left.
Unless GM or owner veto it http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...o-get-start-on-sunday-barring-g-m-owner-veto/
And this changes nothing. Vick is useless. And after playing like complete crap in his first significant amount of playing time, he refuses to take any responsibility for playing so bad and not knowing the playbook.
And why would he take responsibility, he still wants one more big payday or the shitty Jets to keep him around for a few years. Vick isn't worth league minimum yet the Jets are paying him $4M a year.
Both QB's have been turnover machines. It wouldn't have mattered if Vick started from game 1 we'd probably have the same amount of TO's.
if the gm or owner override this decision (which is 8 weeks too late, in other words vick should have started the season) then it shows the office undermined the coach.
Woody should veto this and force Geno in... Woody should realize both Idzik and Rex are bums and should be fired BUT first them along with Geno should secure the number 1 overall pick... But in typical Jets fashion, you guys are gonna fuck that up.
I'm good with it. Geno's a mess right now. I don't expect very different results. We're still starting the same coaching staff. There's no discipline.
I think the fact that Vick is taking over as starter on a 1-7 team is a testament to how little sense it made to acquire him. What value does he provide towards making the Jets a successful franchise? Answer: no value.
