To me I think a mangini guy is a player with good work ethic. I believe they are players with a head on their shoulders, and won't take any plays off. I believe that he is looking for guys that will put the team ahead of individual stats. Prime example would be Brian Westbrook that laid down on the one yard line to keep the clock running when he could have walked in for a touch down. That being said I believe that you want a player with a little bit of attitude also. Basically, someone that loves to play the game. I guess we could load up on the Chad Johnsons, the Terrell Owens, of the League. It would be fun to watch, but in the end the team with team players would be taking the trophy home at the end of the day.
I missed the play that you are referring to, but he has been battling double team all night. He has also applied some pressure also. He has also made some nice pursuit tackles. We would use him as a OLB, and he wouldn't be fighting double teams. Definately a nice pick up.
That same D that gave up the late points is also the D that help get that lead. You have to remember that Our D was on the field the 3rd longest in the NFl. Something like 37 minutes per game. I guess they shouldn't get tired because they are Pros.
Gholston plays for Ohio State. I wish I saw it. Did he have any chance of gettting to the ball. Was he 3 yards away, or 30 yards. Just pointing out that he has made some nice plays, and that we won't be utilizing him the way Ohio State is.
Hhaha.. It started in the NFL section.. I see everyone is sporting one.. So I want to be cool like the others.. Next week.. it's Colts gear..
That D also barely caused much turnovers if im not mistaken, so in essence they stay on the field because of a lack of getting to the QB or stopping the RB on crucial 2nd/3rd and short. Granted the offense is pretty lackluster, but there wont be anybody at 6 who will be a playmaker on that side of the ball so we have to lean to Defense IMO.
