I can't wait to hear all you guys backpedal when we're converting third downs, resting our defense and scoring regularly at the goal line.
And BTW ... anyone out there think we DON'T score and win that Dolphin game with Tebow on the team last season?

You don't think Tebow will be tough to stop on 3rd and short? Watch some tape from last season ... you can start with the 4th quarter against us.

isn't good enough, ha he went 7-4 as a starter in the reg season and 1-1 in the playoffs, what do you think is good enough to play?

overrated? are you kidding, every analyst out there says he can't play QB (except Skip Bayless),

every analyst says he can't play QB and you say he's overrated

he goes 7-4, then 1-1 in the PO and you say he isn't good enough

well he was good enough to beat this same Jets team last year, and now the Jets have him as a weapon

quit your whining - get on board

at least your front office knows how to evaluate talent, thank god you aren't doing it for them

If Tanny or Rex woke up and realized Eric Smith is not an NFL quality safety we stop Tebow. And he doesn't make the playoffs.

I honestly think people hear the name TEBOW, and suddenly lose their ability to think logically. There's no way this move doesn't help us keep the chains moving. It 100% does, and that's what the game is all about.

    finally someone is talking sense

he's a offensive threat that will be utalized where needed

I've never seen a fan base that is so hardcore, get their panties in a bunch so quick over actually making the team better.

Tebow is such a winner he lost 3 straight games to end the season to win the division, nice.

Rex is my boy. But this is stupid.

A superb run game, stellar defense, stupid Marion Barber, and Matt Prater knocking 52+ yard FGs won the games.

Tebow would be shit for 50 minutes then just pull something out of the air.

He's an awful QB, simple as that.

Saddened and embarrased to be a Jets fan

With the lockerroom fiasco and Rex's big mouthed empty promises, this franchize is quickly becomming the laughing stock of the NFL. Especially when the roster has been over-hyped and overrated. With all the needs this team has; pass rusher, wideouts, and OL, management goes out and gets a player who doesnt even belong in the NFL as starting QB. Its an absolute joke plain and simple.....

Lol it's hard to be a laughing stock when you havent had a losing season in 4 years. I mean this reaction to the deal is actually hilarious.

The Jets do remind me of a few scenes from the movie Slapshot.

Then lucky for them that they didn't get him to be the starting QB.

Saddened and embarrassed to hear the exact same thing said every March by whiny, over-reactive Jet fans.

By the way...laughing stock? Have you looked at Miami lately?

It is...and I love it because these reporters and analysts are making comments that will end up looking so ridiculous if Tebow helps this team win.

"I threw up in my mouth." - Kris Jenkins' reaction to first hearing about the Tebow trade.

    Totally agree.

The only "embarrassing" facet of any of this is that fans on this board have bought into the transparently vacuous and intellectually dishonest sensationalism that the New York Media constantly proliferates in order to sell papers and achieve ratings.

The Chiefs, Dolphins, Bucs, Jags, and Rams could use a few more fans.
