Someone help LenDalle White he's fallen and he can't get up..Before we say draft the guy I definitely need to see his 40 time. The guy is making me think he might run a 4.5..

4.5 is not a bad time, especially for a RB. I'd be surprised if White ran a 4.5 but I have been saying he is overrated since the National Championship.

If Leinart really just had a 37 inch vertical I'm pretty impressed by that also.

4.33, you can't pass on him as #1 now. Why? He doesn't slow down on the field when he makes cuts.

OH NO WE DO NOT GET MANGOLD! FOLD THE FRANCHISE.

I'm so sick of this Mangold talk. Look, if we needed a center for 1 yr so badly, we would have kept Mawae. Yes, it would be nice to have a young center, but frankly, you can find that in the FA market, or later in the draft.

Mangold in round 2 I can see.. it's only a few picks further down.

These numbers are impressing for a OT, especially the vertical

Winston Justice OT Justice (6-6¼, 320) had a 34½-inch arm length, 39-inch vertical jump, and 38 lifts

    I don't buy into the 0.08 improvement.

Your time is your time. Why they do not use electronic timing all the time is beyond me. Put a sensor at the finish, put a sensor at the start. This eliminates the human element of hitting the button twice, and gives the EXACT TIME

How about Winston Justice, 38 inch vertical. And the tight end not doing 20 reps of bench press.

What just because I want the Jets to chose a Center at 29 doesn't mean that I would be upset if we don't get him. Sorry for wanting to draft the best C to come out of the draft in the last couple of years. I guess we should settle for just some FA or 7th rounder to hold the fort a while.

Again I doubt he will be there in the second if the steelers, texans, or saints don't draft him. He is a hell of a prospect and excuse me for wanting to get a primo Center leading the Jets for the next 10 plus years.

Yeah he is going to be picked in the 12 for sure. If Leinart and Mario are off the board I would consider trading down to get this guy. I would much prefer him at 9 with an extra 2nd round pick and much smaller salary then Ferguson at 4.

That article is wrong the conversion is actually generally accepted to be about .2 seconds, not .08.

    Getting my $$$ worth

As a season ticket holder I get depressed everytime I look at that bill I've got to pay to go see J-Vilma make 10+ tackles.

The prospect of Bush carrying the rock gives me the warm fuzzies. If they make the move, i'll consider it money well spent, otherwise it's just holding my spot for another year.

If we're gonna trade up that should be the only option.

2004......I agree, the Mangold talk is getting out of control. Mangold is a great player, and if he's available at 29 or 35, and a key player doesn't fall into our lap, I have no problem taking him. I have a strong feeling a player like Laurence Maroney, Antonio Cromartie or Leonard Pope may fall to us at 29, which would be a no brainer over Mangold.

Mangold is very good and would love the Jets to get him, but not to pass on a better player at 29.

What makes you think Mangold will lead us for "the next 10 plus years?" He has never even lined up against an NFL DT.

Ok question don't want to start another trade up thread but after Bush's insane (PRO DAY) do you think the Jets would trade up to grab him and offer our 1st next year to move up.Houston does not need a rb and has been eyeing D'Brick as a player they desperately need to protect Carr. The reason being , next years class on paper does not look very impressive and we could have the best rb prospect in years on our team. If we did take him he could be used in so many offence schemes as well as special teams. Just tossing it out there...

Ok fixed my post by saying pro-day rather then combine.. I'm glad were in a USC Pro day thread

I have a crystal ball. I just want the best player avaliable at 29. That's it end of story. I like Mangold a lot but as someone said if he's not the best player then I support whatever the Jets do.
