This is the only interesting thing about this story. If this piece of crap gets to walk away with all of his money, there isn't anyone who can convince me that his behavior hasn't been deliberately insane for weeks for exactly that reason. The only sensible possibility is that Khan and his people think they have an excellent termination for cause case against him, since otherwise they would have just waited for him to do more things that he could legitimately be fired for. This certainly is a classic "You knew what I was when you picked me up" story - was there anyone, fan or commentator, who didn't think that this was an insane hire?
Oh I know all about him quitting. I was more curious if he was all about belittling everyone around him when he was in college. I also know he loved harboring a bunch of criminal athletes at Florida.
Gator fans have a love / hate relationship with him.... some just see the National titles, but many see the guy that faked a health condition because he did a shitty job of recruiting, and walked away from a bare cupboard of players....
There is a reason that bad franchises stay bad. If they want to hire Gase at OC, well that's maybe supportable. Any level above that and they're rinse and repeating in 3 years.
