Well Don, I'm not writing them off yet. It's only the 2nd game of the season. We are also 1-1 in the division. Let's at least wait until half the season is over.
They played like crap just like the Texans played like crap Week 1. Funny how that works. I guess we're just getting lucky and catching teams on a good week. You are making a fool of yourself. Just take the L in stride and move on.
anyone want a sig quote? No one is writing the Patsies off, They'll get healthy and make a run and yes, this is still early in the season...\ but don't act like this loss doesn't count or didn't happen, we didn't allow the Patsies to score a TD even after giving them great Field position a couple of times. That is a pretty telling tale of our defensive domination in this game.
St. Louis complained first. Do you think they changed to rule because ONE team complained. Ignorant Pats fan. Can't wait until BB retires and all the truth comes out. How did that SB work out for you? Do you think Mangini stopped it because it had no effect? Keep the blinders on.
Gosh, wide recievers complained? Yeah they complained because the Pats weren't suppose to win that game. Remember "the greatest team on turf"? How dare the Pats take that SB away from them. Oh that SB must have burned their ass...and every Jets fan too!:metal:
The Pats have played like crap two weeks in a row. The difference between this week and last week is the Jets didn't go into a prevent D because they can man up on Moss and made Brady move more than he wants to. The Jets also have a QB who can throw on the move and get rid of the ball quickly something the Pats haven't seen out of a Jets team since the 60's. The Pats no longer have the better personal on D, the leadership on D or the better weapons on O. With Brady coming back off a major injury the big advantage at QB isn't there right now. I can understand why you think the Pats played like crap yesterday. The reality is the Pats aren't as good as they were at one time years ago and since the Giants put the blueprint out for making Brady shit in his pants the Pats are just going to look like they play like crap compared to how they used to play for a long time. Get used to it. The Pats haven't won a SB in a long time and they aren't winning one this year either.
The Pats don't have better weapons on O? Are you kidding? I'll take Moss, Welker, and Brady any day. I like our RB's an TE's too. Our D is young but it will come together. By the way, congrats on your gift to foretell the future. Tell me..who will win the SB this year?
The reason they got the FG to put them up 6-0 was b/c of 2 very questionable calls. Their O only had one nice drive all game and that was the drive to end the first half. Their other 6 pts came off the fumble and ont he drive w/ the 2 questionable calls.
You have better WRs, a better QB and better depth at TE. We have MUCH better RBs, a better OL and a much better top TE.
On one play Brady got knocked down , he immediately gets up and points to the ref as if he was going to get the call. Denied!
Yeah I saw that!! That was hilarious, I wish collectiviely Jet fans could mail him some tissues for his tears.
As said in another thread, congrats to the Jets on a hard-earned victory. You can't take anything away from what they did yesterday. I, for one, don't think the Patriots "beat themselves," and I don't think the refs handed anyone the game. Jets won, fair and square. I do think a lot of you are still putting too much stock into a week two game, but... hey, if it works for ya, who am I to rain on your parade. (BTW, is there actually a parade today? ) Congrats, and enjoy the season...
