I don't think that was a flag but IMO If that was a COLTS play there would have been 1. Where's the IC? Where's the impedance? Nuthin because we don't have a fukin horseshoe on our helmet!
I know it's not the time for this, but even if that one play had been called I think it's pretty tough to argue that the Jets' defense played well enough to win this game. That non-call was BS though
Absolutely...I'm not gonna be a fukin idiot and say it's the reason but it contributes big time! But every fukin game vs the COLTS or PATS there are calls and non calls that are just baffling! I said it when it happened, if it's us-No call, COLTS-Call and it actually happened
He made contact w/ the facemask but I couldn't believ how quick the ref got the flag out! He was trying to strip the ball and touched the facemask and that's all it took. Meanwhile, Snachez not only got hit late today but he was hit in the head a few times!!! I couldn't believe there were no flags!
And the network will get a matchup of its desire. Sometimes i wonder if pro sports are worth putting heart into. Sometimes were screwed from the beginning
Officiating was horrible today. Despicable. It seems like the NFL always has games like this and it makes me want to puke.
The officiating wasn't great, but to say it lost the game for the Jets is just wrong...defense played horrendous and the offense couldnt do anything without greene.
Correct. We lost. Injuries hurt us a lot. Close football games are often decided by officiating. This was not a very close football game. It should have been closer. Next year will be much better.
I agree but to say it had no affect is also turning a blind eye. We probably still woulda lost but to have it compounded by a few calls...it kinda puts salt on the wound
The non-call on Sanchez was terrible, but otherwise I thought the officiating was fine, and didn't affect the game at all. In fact, the non-call turned out to be pretty much moot, since all it would have resulted in was offsetting penalties, and the Jets got a first down anyway on a 19 yard pass in that series. IMO the facemask call was obvious (he grabbed the mask and turned it, and it makes no difference whether he intended to do it or not), and complaining that penalties that weren't called on the Colts that were right not to be called, but would have been called if it had been the Jets on defense doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
