Signing and drafting elite backs is a good way to stick your money in a tissue box and light it on fire. They are too replaceable, the offensive line is the key to ground production, and also finding a blocking/receiving compliment to Keller at TE. We need a veteran tackle, because Hodormir Ducasse is mentally impaired and Wayne Hunter sucks like a black hole. And possibly draft a guard early. We're locked into Cro (dammit) and Santonio right now, but we can go ahead and cut bait with Eric Smith and Burress, I don't care what we have to do, but we need to find a cover safety and a Ted/Jack backer that can cover the middle of the field. We'll never beat the Pats in the regular season again if we don't, because they barely attack outside the hashes and that's where the cream of our defensive talent spends most of his day. Oh, almost forgot, throw Brian Schottenheimer into the Hudson River.
