it helps though when the defense has their corners giving up 10 yards of cushion!

OK, thanks. If you're correct, then I wouldn't want Taylor. I think any offense that eschews certain routes gives the opposing D a huge advantage and puts themselves at a big disadvantage.

I agree Taylor has the leverage. But there is a chance he heals befire march 11 and would then get less annual. The reason he will want to sign with buffalo is the 3o.5 mill means he will get much more from them then anither team where he lacks that keverage. What will it take for Buffalo to sign him for 3 years? Certainly more than the 30 million he is guaranteed this year. Is it 45 to 50 million over 3 years? It gives taylor security and allows buffalo to spread out the cap charge over multiple years.

Taylor already has security. He's made over $15 million with his present contract. IMO the term "security" and NFL players don't belong in the same sentence. Unless they were undrafted FAs and only stay in the NFL for a year or two, all NFL players have financial security. They make more in a year or two than most of us make in 5-10 years. Even if they don't stay in the NFL, they have that nest egg unless they were foolish and spent it all, and they can still work the rest of their lives.

LOL Thanks. I was being conservative in case some of our members make a lot more than most of us do.

i could see the broncos or browns making a run at him as well. personally i don't think he is that good at all, but sadly he's better then what we have now and would be an improvement for us

So much for that, Bills new coach said Taylor called him right away to congratulate him and he was at his introductory press conference to greet him. Doesn't sound like a player looking to get out.

sounds like a player trying to stay on the roster to collect 30 mil. whether bills want to pay him that is the question. and since they didn't want to risk injury in week 17 so they benched him,we already know the answer. if he can pass a exit physical on march 11th he will be a f.a.

How is that "bush league" and "pathetic/amateur"?

it was neither of those things, it was yet another example of LolBills, the only thing more prominent than LolJets

Tyrod is the best QB they've had in almost 20 years and are ready to ship him out of town, really sad!

I'd be really OK with Taylor on a reasonable contract (2y with 3rd year option).

This is what I REALLY want... Tyrod and Fournette.

Sign Tyrod Taylor, Eric Berry, & Matt Kalil. I'll have new found faith in this team if we can make those 3 moves.

After getting rid of some of our old cap killers and making a few restructures we will have a nice amount of cap cash to spend.

It wasn't bush league or pathetic. It was the correct move and smart.

It was a poorly laid out contract, and the Bills benched him so it didn't come back to hurt them more

It was bush league to give a guy like Tyrod Taylor that contract in the first place. That's what loser teams do.

Watch the Jets do it, too.
