Yeah, looked at as a group, Douglas has brought in some good football players. He's done well with free agents/trades (Rankins, C. Davis, both Lawsons, Fant, Moses, Ty Johnson, Cole, Quincy Williams, J. Davis, Morstead, etc.). And he's done equally well bringing in college players (Hall, both Carters, Becton, Echols, Guidry, Huff, Moore, Mims, etc.). Don't look now, but it sounds like he's about to deliver us from GVR with Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. So our O line should be pretty solid: Fant/AVT/McGovern/LDT/Moses. When Becton gets back, there will even be more options! I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

Pretty sure Sonny Werblin, the mastermind had his birthday on St Patrick's day so he picked the green and white for the Jets. Hess didn't get the controlling interest in the team until many years later. Green and white are the colors; bringing in black uniforms because every other team in every sport decided black was cool is...uncool. Why are the stripes on the cheerleader outfits shithouse brown?
Well, I don't think people really care much about the stripes on those catsuits. Just what's inside the catsuits. As far as the colors go, its marketing, its swag sales, its ancillary income for the franchise not to mention a great conversation starter. Not everybody is an old school green/white or nothing fan. This new generation prefers innovation. You don't have to like the new unis, but they're not meant for you to like. They're targeted toward the younger fans just like the entire uniform change. That's why you see Yankee caps is just about every color in the spectrum. The only color that matters is green and how much of it your franchise can accumulate.
I'm old. I loved the old style unis that Parcells brought back. Hate the new ones no matter the color .
Im older than you, and yes, bringing back the old jets unis was the best thing Pracelles done, but these black ones are really sharp
I much preffered the 80's/90's Jets logo, Sleek minimalist and efficient. The current one is rather meh! and if you asked me to draw it from memory then I'd blank on it.
I think they're sticking with the current unis, just a different color combo. I'm seeing on Jets Twitter that it may be white jersey and black pants.
