    I don't know if a power blocking scheme would fit the spread Gailey is likely to run. Plus, our two best, Brick and Mangold, are both better in zone schemes.

    I agree. I believe the Jets have been running a zone blocking scheme for about the last 5 years since Damiem Woody retired. They may have switched to power scheme while Sparano was here, but then switched back the following season.

    Yeah, and for being an offensive line coach, Sporano's man-power scheme was pretty terrible. It looked very uncoordinated, especially in pass pro. I prefer the zone blocking scheme, especially for our guys. Other than Breno and Carpenter, our line is built for it. Carpenter should get a bit of help with Mangold at his side also.

    I agree. Mangold's a great center, but he's not really a power blocker, and Brick totally isn't.
