    Of course he said they weren't used in the game....he took them (pats) for their word, after they repeatedly lied about the whole spying thing. Do you honestly believe that he taped the AFC championship game to scout them for next year? I have a hard time believing that any team will use the same signals year in and year out. Especially a team like Pitt that has a complicated defense scheme.Also how did they know that their first game of the year will be Pitt, when the current season was still going on?

    Do you exist in a world where the NFL's schedule comes out before the previous season has ended? The Patriots had no idea the Steelers game was going to be the first one the next season.

    EDIT: IN FACT, since the AFCE played the AFCW in-conference that season, the Pats had NO IDEA AT ALL THAT THEY WERE PLAYING THE STEELERS THAT SEASON.

    I often wonder where these 'Pats fans' get all this inside info. It really amazes me. Every Jets message board I belong to is filled with this fud, and its all different, and of course all in their favor.
