If Ashtyn and Michael Carter get cut, I would expect it tomorrow... starting to look like they'll survive though.

 

Trey Dean was cut, have to imagine that makes Davis a lock. Unfortunately.

 

Such a different world in Jetsland now... we actually cut talented players, who will probably make it on other teams.
Go figure.
Kinda surprised no trade for Bam materialized. He had some good moments, & thought some RB needy team would throw the Jets a bone.

Davis has played out of his mind this preseason and offers more on special teams. It's good to see that Davis Is developing and getting much better than the years prior. I'm bummed Trey Dean was cut, a lot of potential, and would've saved us some money. I can't be mad though, there Is a lot of potential that was shown by Davis this offseason/preseason. Which Is very encouraging.

 

I think NYJ fans have overestimated Bam's value/worth. I really didn't think he was all that great, he had some good moments, awesome name. I never understood the hype personally.

 

Dean was a mild surprise.

He was below average. There's probably 100 backs who can bring what he brought to the table.

 

Moreland to the IR is interesting. I guess they keep 5 CBs and activate Echols after week 1

 

I heard Rodgers praised Gipson after the Giants game which I think would mean Gipson stays.

 

echols is suspended the 1st 6 games so won't count against the week 1 roster

 

I think that is probably the fall back plan if one of the guys they want doesn't shake loose during final cuts. The middle of the field is thin as hell. They can't keep these vanity picks.

Strangely, Madden 24 loves Ashtyn. He doesn't even start but whenever I have the dime package in he gets a sack or a pick.

 

Good a player as he is he hasn't (production or availability-wise) matched his 3 yr/$45m contract....and why the Jets hold onto Bryce Huff.

 

Late in pre-season everyone was on the same page about his worth.

 

I think that’s exactly what it is.
Which I’ll never understand. It doesn’t matter where players come from, what matters is having players that can produce results.
