I’m sure everyone felt the same as they do about poor Jimmy Kimmel and free speech when Sam Ponder and Sage Steele were fired for saying men shouldn’t play in women’s sports. Or JK Rowling losing millions upon millions for saying transgender women are not biological women. Or Joe Rogan and tons of other conservatives being de-monetized on YouTube for a variety of reasons. And dozens of others over the past decade. The feigned outrage in this thread is hilarious. And what led to all this? The relentless name calling of conservatives as Nazi’s and fascists - the same rhetoric that got Charlie Kirk killed. And here we are with some of you guys saying the same thing over poor Jimmy.
Anyway, it’s been a week now of national mourning for a podcaster. Looking forward to when we can get back to normalcy. The thought police are the worst
The fact Colbert got an Oscar after his show was canceled... they are not even hiding it anymore. I take solace that nobody watches that crap anyways and most late night will be gone in the next few years. The texts are very juvenile.. and again that the transcript was being published by websites is something I have never seen before when an investigation is active. There's just a lot of smoke.
I’m not defending it. All I did was state the factual reason why he’s off the air which you lied about as usual if it doesn’t fit into your point. I also said I’d like to see Kimmel stay on the air. But lefty people being upset about cancel culture is hilarious lol. Since when are the Oscars some sort of barometer that matters? He was getting that Oscar no matter what when they canceled his show (the same show that was losing $40+ million per year…). I will point to the texts making no sense because think about some of the words. It’s written like a fed. Who in normal conversation refers to a car as a “vehicle?” Who writes that they’re going to “retrieve” something? That’s written in official police reports, not conversational language between kids barely legal to drink.
I don’t support it for anyone. But this administration is the pressure behind what’s going on now. I haven’t seen that before. This administration is acting exactly like nazis .

Yeah they’re rounding up millions of Jews (among other ethnic groups) to throw into camps and murder them. They’re performing medical experiments on human beings of all different types for the benefit of medical science. They are euthanizing the mentally disabled. They are advancing on every nation in Europe in order in the name of taking over the whole continent and then enacting martial law when they get there. That’s pretty over the top. Nazi germany had many aspects to it , especially at the beginning. Before the murdering started. It started with control of media and information. Turning people in for opposing viewpoints
