Michael Lombardi just said that Dwayne Lowery played the nickel/slot CB position for the Jets last year. This is Dwayne Lowery:
Lombardi also called Bryan Thomas, Byron Thomas. This is an immense fail. You have to know their names if you're going to be on TV.
Lombardi just said the Jets are expecting a big year from 'Sean Greene', and are looking to bring back 'Shawn Ellis'.. Who the fuck are these guys?!!!
I just listened to Eisen's podcast from last week while I was out running this morning. Lombardi's predictions based upon his "inside knowledge" were so wrong it's laughable.
Mike Lombardi was convinced that Aso was going to end up in Green Bay. They weren't even in the running.
RichCimini Rich Cimini #nyj Rookie WR Jeremy Kerley makes a nice toe-tapping catch on sideline, pass from Mark Sanchez.
If all goes well, our team is gonna be so fucking tight 2-3 years from now with all this young talent on D. If not immediately.
With this many players out because of the CBA and the rain, you cant complain that much Chris Bryan Mark Brunell Plaxico Burress Antonio Cromartie Nick Folk David Harris Santonio Holmes Wayne Hunter DaJuan Morgan Bart Scott Eric Smith Donald Strickland LaDainian Tomlinson Rob Turner
Although this rule has hurt some players being able to get back into football, especially Plaxico, it's very beneficial for the young guys like Joe McKnight, kerley, mo Wilkerson, and ducasse to be getting a lot of reps and being pushed to play like a first string.
As true as this may be, I want guys like Kyle Wilson, Mo Wilk and Kenrick Ellis to play against guys LT, Wayne Hunter... the guys who are starting caliber in the NFL. On the flip, I want guys like McKnight, Kerley, Sanchez and especially Plax to be playing against Revis, Scott, Smith, Pool and Cro. Practicing against the quality of opponent that our players practice against is a luxury. It's some of the league's best going up against some of the league's best. It's a huge advantage.
There was a problem with the gallery script, which I fixed a few minutes later. So, if you clear your browser's cache, it should be fine.
Well, training camp at Florham Park just plain sucks, as there's no bleachers. If you want to get a good view, you should arrive probably at least 2 hours before the practice time or be like 6'5". I showed up about 30 minutes before practice yesterday and there were already 2-3 rows of people standing by the fence.
