I was sitting here thinking What's up with all these guys getting injured? This sucks. ... And then I remembered thinking something similar last year, and probably the year before too. In the off-season I always forget that we'll usually be down 1 or 2 guys with injury every game, I guess I always think that everyone will come back and we'll be at full-strength week 1. I sure hope so.
Vlad better have his head out of his "Ducasse" by then, I don't want my QB getting hurt. I still blame him for 3 sacks against Houston at 3 different positions: Right Tackle, Right Guard, and Bench.
Get them healthy .... personally i could care less if we lose all 4 games in the preseason ... as long as we make it through without major injury.
He's going against, no shit, 2 (arguably) pro bowl corners in the prime of their careers. The best defense he'll try to throw against, coverage wise, all year will be the one he faces everyday at practice. Relax.
I thought Mark was dating her. Guess she's too old for him and hooked-up with his friend instead. BTW, does Scotty McKnight have a shot with this team? Haven't heard him mentioned much, except for Hayden, which could be the reason he's in camp anyway.
Nitpicking here....... Concern anyone else? All he did was throw quick passes in game one. Now this guy sees it in practice. Let this kid air it out already!
It doesn't concern me at all. It moves the chains and keeps the clock running. We'll take our shots. Brady, Brees, and Manning dink and dunk it down the field. It sets up a lot of opportunities.
Eh your right. Im just itchy to see a potent offense at work. Edit, not like it wasnt in week one. I guess im just spoiled.
Schotty's previous MO was like a grab bag of plays, sometimes he never really let Sanchez and the O get a rhythm going because he'd call some oddball low-percentage play in there and kill the drive, or put them in 3rd and long situations repeatedly. Stuff like this has Tom Moore's fingerprints on it. It's fundamental football and it's what has been working for top offenses, as opposed to airing it out to please the fans at camp.
Coaches aren't going to show their cards during the preseason. The gameplans on both sides of the ball will be very vanilla.
Until Plax gets accustom to the playbook and gets in a groove with Mark, there really isn't anyone to "air it out" to - Holmes is going to eat people up in the middle of the field but I don't think he is tall enough to go down the sidelines (like Edwards always did last year) - And Mason isn't quick enough to beat anyone in an all out sprint down the field so he will be another quick slant type receiver. I don't think we'll be seeing a lot of home run touchdown passes this year, if any do go 30+ yards for touchdowns its going to be because Santonio caught the ball in the middle of the field and turned on the jets.
