I wonder if the FO is making these moves for TE's because they're planning on moving Keller to a Receiver role? How sweet would that be.
I think they're just lacking depth at TE. One of the biggest advantages of Keller at TE is that he's going to be matched up with LB's and Safeties a lot, and he has them physically outmatched.

I like the way it sounds like Jehuu is progressing. We haven't had a sure-handed receiving FB since Sowell and Richie Anderson.
Just saw the MNF Miracle on NFLN again this weekend, that catch Anderson made on 4th and 1 right before Jumbo's game-tying TD at the end of regulation was amazing. He got crushed just as he was catching the ball and hung on. We still have Tony Richardson, right? I thought he was underused last year, especially in short yardage.
I thought T-Rich was tragically underused. They used him a few times at the beginning of the Denver game and he was very effective... and then they forgot he was on the roster. That was a pretty disturbing trend with the running game last season. It works? Great. Forget about it. Richie, I missed that dude when he left. The year of the MNF Miracle I'm pretty sure he led the team with 88 receptions. He was such a good receiver out of the backfield. I remember he also had that long-ass TD at the beginning of the Ravens game at the end of the year in Baltimore. That was shortly before Vinny threw the game away all day long.

Anderson took that first pass from Chad to the house to open up the 41-0 destruction of the Colts in the playoffs, too. Richardson had a nice run early in the Seattle game, but like you said, it worked so well we never used it again. We'd rather have an injured Favre hurling the ball all around in the snow. Maybe the most infuriating game of this decade, considering we were playing against the second unit of a bad team.
