Cimini reporting that Curtis Martin is in attendance today. Pretty cool, would love to see a Martin/Breece friendship develop.
Zack Rosenblatt: Aaron Rodgers on the move just found Jeremy Ruckert down the field on an off balance throw. On the money. Connor Hughes: Rodgers completed a pass to Ruckert that I’m still trying to figure out how it was complete to Ruckert. Mosley all over him. He threw it behind him to avoid it. Ruckert adjusted. Andy Vasquez: First pass of 11 on 11 in pads: Rodgers tops right and throws a precise pass to Jeremy Ruckert who was well covered and made a catch anyway.
Was watching the live feed for a few. AR was working with Zach, demonstrating a technique. Don't know how things'll play out, but it's obvious Zach is getting some primo coaching... no more excuses, it's all on him now. As crazy as things have been for him, over the past 2+ years, he finds himself in a perfect situation, getting a 2nd opportunity to 'start' his NFL career... this time with some experienced coaching & mentoring. I can't think of another young QB, who received such a lucky break, after a pretty dismal start. What an unexpected turn of events, if he actually responds, & becomes a competent NFL QB... .
Zack Rosenblatt: Quinnen Williams broke into the backfield so quickly that he nearly caught a screen pass to Zonovan Knight.
I posted in the other TC thread, about watching the live TC feed, & seeing AR demonstrating technique with Zach, & then Zach practicing it. AR is definitely working with Zach. If Zach has it in him, the current situation is the best outcome he/we could've hoped for. ...
Zack Rosenblatt: Aaron Rodgers with a quick lob down the sideline to Garrett Wilson right off the snap. Perfectly placed. Complete. Thing of beauty. Cimini: Rodgers with a dime to Garrett Wilson — a long sideline pass with terrific ball placement. Coverage was good, throw was better. Hughes: Rodgers - Wilson. Deep down left sideline into tight coverage. Great pitch & catch.
Cimini: Rodgers off to a good start through 2 series of 11 v 11 (pads). Hit 4 of 5, including off-balance, on-the-move throw to Ruckert. Screen pass to Knight got blown up by Quinnen Williams.
Hughes: Allen Lazard is NOT practicing today. He has a sleeve on his left leg. Costello: Allen Lazard is not practicing. He just came to the field. He has a sleeve on his left leg.
Hughes: Will McDonald got around Mekhi Becton for a would-be sack. Carter Warren ended up going in for him on the next play Izzy broke a would-be long TD run with second team Cimini: With Streveler at QB, Abanikanda finds a crease and takes it to the house from 50+. He’s a dangerous runner when there’s daylight. He can make people pay with his long speed.
Faria: Will McDonald is causing a lot of havoc right now. Speed has been a big issue for Becton so far this camp and he lost that rep there. Quinnen Williams (I think) would have had a sack and then completely blew up a screen play. Best defensive player is dominating again. #Jets OL starting strong. Couple big time runs to start. Holy moly what a throw. Rodgers throws a bullet to Conklin on his back shoulder…would have been a first down Wow.
