Faria: Laken Tomlinson took offense to something and he got into a fight with Smart and, it appeared, Solomon Thomas. #Jets Rosenblatt: Fight! Appeared to involve Laken Tomlinson and Tanzel Smart but couldn’t get a good look. Seemed like the whole team ran over to break it up, including Rodgers. Cimini: Tempers at #Jets camp. Tomlinson gets into a scuffle with some DLM. After a pause, it sparks again, with players forming a giant scrum. Rodgers runs over in peacemaking attempts. Situation quickly resolved.
Faria: Hey, Rodgers still has his legs, QB steps and scrambles for what would have been a first down. #Jets Rosenblatt: Aaron Rodgers looking spry on a scramble, though I think Will McDonald might’ve sacked him. #Jets
Faria: Malik Taylor is starting to make some nice plays. Good catch on an in-route and perfect ball placement from Rodgers. Rosenblatt: Jason Brownlee just made an Odell Beckham-esque one handed catch down the field on a pass from Zach Wilson. It was amazing. #Jets Faria: JASON BROWNLEE! One-handed catch similar to OBJ’s from Wilson. Catch of camp and the world. #Jets Hughes: Holy crap. Catch of camp. Brownlee just made an ABSURD long, 1-handed catch from Zach Wilson. Jumped up, being interfered with, palmed it, then came crashing to ground. Looks like he hurt his shoulder in process but what a ridiculous catch. #Jets Staley: Jason Brownlee made an amazing one-handed catch and looked like he was in pain as he went to the sidelines afterwards (Gonna need to see the video on this one. Faria: Carter Warren now running with the second team at LT while Becton is off to the side. He won the rep on McDonald very nicely. Becton does not seem to be in pain, but could be on that “snap count” Saleh talked about yesterday. #Jets Soo Tim Boyle can sling it. Picture perfect throw over two defenders to Luther. Faria: Red zone work now. Rodgers threads the needle to Uzomah and then celebrates with finger-guns. HOFer clearly having fun today. #Jets Hughes: Rodgers - Uzomah TD concludes their red zone period. Strike to middle of field. It’s very different watching Rodgers throw the ball. Rosenblatt: Jets corners making Aaron Rodgers’ life hard all camp. Back to back great coverage in end zone from Sauce Gardner and Michael Carter II. MCII got a PBU. #Jets Man, Aaron Rodgers is so fun to watch in the red zone. It looked like he was about to get sacked but with a quick flick of the wrist he got it to a covered Jeremy Ruckert, perfectly placed. Fantastic throw and TD to end practice. #Jets
Hughes: #Jets defense is winning the day again. Stood on their head just now against Aaron Rodgers & offense in red zone drill. Forced turnover on downs. Gardner & Carter with PBUs on 3rd & 4th down. Final play of practice is a great contested TD catch from Jeremy Ruckert. Had defender all over him. #Jets
Faria: Ruckert with a phenomenal catch in a two-point session. Rodgers found him in the corner and the young TE got his feet in bounds while maintaining control.
