I would, but based on what TB said following the game today, I doubt if he would unless Mac forced him to.
With how quickly they signed Fitz, and how there was never consideration of pulling him shows there is zero confidence in Geno regardless of what they claim. If they're looking to Petty or Hack as the future toss them in if you get another game like today.
I think if the game was more out of hand they might have pulled him but it was only two scores to a point.
Petty will probably eventually get some playing time this season. Barring a major catastrophe, you can forget about seeing Hack on the field this season and for good reason.
Fitzpatrick likely wouldn't get benched until the Jets are at 8 or more losses (unless he repeats the Chiefs performance...).
Why is it that the Jets don't make smart moves when it comes to a solid QB? Geno was a horrible pick and I guarantee no team would trade for him. Signing FitzTragic as our starting QB is proof that the Jets don't know jack shit about picking QBs to be starters. And what makes it worse is they draft some possible starters but they're sitting on the bench learning from crap QBs.
Dak Prescott never took a sa under center in his life.....Siemien never played...Wentz never played....why cant Petty play?
those 3 qbs were prepared to start. Can't say the same about Petty who along with Hack got scraps in terms of reps.
This staff was so focused on Fitzpatrick they neglected the other qbs. Its just a disgrace they put all their eggs in a journey below average qb. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
That's the price you pay for trying to develop young talent while trying to win at all costs. I wish, they would've bitten the bullet and let the young guys play this season. Could've done better then Fitz in the long-run.
