1. Did he actually say that? 2. If he did, he's stupid. 3. Jordan Palmer thought Christian Hackenberg was going to be great.
I've been a Mayfield fan for awhile but you could end up being right. They were running kind of a gimmick offense. And then they go and make that gimmick the head coach? Everyone has been kissing the browns asses for some reason but it wouldn't surprise me if reality hits them hard next season
Dat progress from Darnold. He was one of the better QBs in the LEAGUE when he came back. I guess take QBR as you will.
How the fuck does Jordan Palmer come up with that assessment. The dude —who everyone thought needed at least a year to sit—took 2nd team reps through about week 4, came in and played lights out. And THAT’S his absolute ceiling?
From PFF: PFF's adjusted completion percentage takes drops into account, Allen still fares pretty poorly.
Fair warning, I'm pretty sure you're talking to the guy that says no stats matter and only looking at tape does (and of course, he says the tape shows Allen isn't inaccurate with nothing to back it). He refuses to accept that Allen has accuracy issues. Both in college and now.
I would be surprised because they have a very good OC this year. He had the Bucks rated , I believe, #3 offense last year.
