Tomlinson would want more than Vets minimum (See ya LT)

    Let's not act like he's asking for a Chris Johnson contract. He's making $1.125 million this year. For guys in there 11th year, the minimum is $820,000. So we're talking about an extra 300k for a guy who still has a role on the team? Call me crazy but I wouldn't hesitate to give him the same salary as this year to come back.

    I wouldn't mind bringing LT back for one more year. Sure, he wants more than the vet minimum, but he was not making much to begin with this year anyway.

    Either way, I would also be fine with both sides moving on. Hopefully the Jets feed him the ball a few more times than usual on Sunday, that way LT can at least get the 35 yards he needs to move up to #5 on the All-time rushing list.
