There is a reason why Patrick Turner came into the game to replace him and instantly got some catches. It wasn't just some lucky occurrence that happened. He has been giving up on games all year, he hasn't done shit for this team except put our offense further in a hole. Sanchez and Co. deserve blame, no question, but at least they don't give up on their team and fans that pay their hard earned money to watch them play. At least they try their hearts out no matter what to win, even in failure, they still give it their all. That is being a pro. That is what Holmes should be doing.

As far as Rex goes, the thing with Rex is he believes in giving his coordinators autonomy, much like it was given to him as defensive coach for the Ravens. Unfortunately when you have inconsistent coaches and egocentric players you really need a firmer hand than Rex has shown so far. His disconnect with Holmes being benched, or throwing 65 passes last week is something that NEEDS to be amended next year. Especially if the chief egomaniacs (Holmes, Cromartie, etc) are still going to be here, which they probably will be.
I dont get the posters around here that are pissed that we resigned him. Imagine the fury if we let him go after what he did last year. He pulled at least 4 games out of the loss column by late touchdowns..and one pass interference I can remember that gave them first and goal. THAT SAID...HOW THE F REX MADE HIM A CAPTAIN IS EXACTLY THE REASON REX IS A LAUGHING STOCK IN THE LEAGUE. I was wondering the same thing watching his presser, it was the usual the Dolphins played a good game. Just stop it right there, the Dolphins did not play a good game. Your offense was invisible outside of 2 possessions all game and your D essentially shut them down with the exception of one drive, granted it was an awful drive by the D but being Sanchez handed them 9 points. Don't say they played a good game. They didn't, we sucked and that's why we lost. Just like Denver, just like last week.
I have to wonder if holmes isnt why both mason and cotchery are gone and maybe even why braylon wasnt brought back. Maybe thats a stretch but the guy is a different level of douche than most people ever come across.
