I thought there was a rule implemented recently that you can't grab the QB's lower leg. It came from Kimo shredding Palmer's knee a couple of years ago. But no penalty was called. Anybody else remember something like this ?
Thank You! Thank You!!! Fox just said that the JETS looked HOT!!! Strahan said this will give us a chance to see how good the Pats coach really is.
you don't see why everyone is so fucking happy? I'll tell you, the favorites in our division just lost there qb for the year. No one said we have the division wrapped up but it sure as hell just got easier.
Umm...Does it occur to anyone that we may lose to the Pats next week even with Matt Cassell at QB? Shit, we haven't beat them at "Home" since 2000!! True, Cassell looked like garbage in the P/S but he played pretty solid today and he's throwing to possibly the best WR tandem in the NFL. Jets were damn lucky to squeeze out a victory against the lowly 'Phins today. Let's not go tempting some karma of our own.
Yeah, the Jets shouldn't underestimate the Pats at all next week. All Cassel needs is 4 seconds in the pocket and he can float it up to Moss... even in triple coverage Moss will take care of the rest.
I have to agree with you here. If Brady were actually to be out for the year - and we are all getting ahead of ourselves IMO here, then the whole outlook of the division changes dramatically. The Pats would go from being the biggest favourites in...possibly any division...to locked in a 3-team free-for all. Anybody's guess what happens in the AFC East if #12 isn't under centre for the Pats
Guys this is exactly how I tore my ACL and meniscus. My leg was planted and I got hit from the side and my knee moved in the same direction as Brady's. I would be SURPRISED as shit if its not torn. At minimum its sprained, which is a 5 week injury. If I'm the Jets I prepare for Brady nevertheless.
Not true.....the 5 guys on the Fox panel are saying that the JETS played great!!!!! And Favre is off to a GREAT season. Fox never lies.....
Seriously WTF cares what Pats fans say or feel? I hope they are all crying in their NE clam chowders as we speak. I want to beat them with or without Brady and the fact is it is easier to beat them without him.
yeah but the NBC crew and more specifically Chris collinsworth started to bash mangini for running Thomas Jones in the late 4th. Has he ever heard of pinning a team deep in their zone with 1 timeouts to work with?
its not good ever when a player suffers a injury like this but i cant say ill lose sleep over it and the fact that this now makes next weeks matchup vs NE a little easier is a good thing
