A couple of other points on Bowles:
    1. Francessa loves him
    2. Parcells recommends him
    3. Kirwan said a week or two ago he would NYJ HC
    4. He's looking at Chan Gailey or Freddie Kitchens (Ariz QB coach) to be OC

I'm good with Bowles. I'd like Quinn, but if these 2 guys are close enough, gotta get the guy that's available. The sin would be to wait on Quinn, lose out on Bowles and then Quinn bolts to another team - then it's, Hello Doug Marrone. Ugh...

I don't want Chan Gailey as OC.. That is a terrible decision. No thanks, give me Quinn if those reports are true.

Bowles would be a good choice, but I want someone who knows offense. 17 points a game is embarrassing.

    And why is that???
He was a bad head coach, but a long time well repected OC? ( In the Norv Turner mold)

our anemic offense usually scores this on the average and our defense has to try to pitch a shutout.

Bowles and LeBeau match up perfectly. that would be an amazing scenario.
i know LeBeau is very old, but you start seasoning his eventual replacement in house. Who better to train a guy than both LeBeau and Bowles?

LeBeau is great but someone posted he was 77? If that's true I'd pass, he's going to die soon.

If Bowles wants Chan Gailey as the OC - then let him go to the Falcons

Anything over 75 is overtime in my book. Old people's brains tend to be a bit foggy and rough around the edges. I think he should retire.

he's the definition of a lifer. he'll coach until he physically or mentally can no longer handle the task, and even then you'd have to drag him off the field.

what a mentor he'd make too. would add a whole lot of season to an inexperienced group just getting started.

I've been stressing the ability for Quinn to assemble a staff given how late he'll be arriving to the party. I think Bowles is 1a to Quinn and having him in place along with the GM by tonight would sure make me sleep better!
Just wondering why, if Maccagnan will be in on the interview, why haven't they named him yet.

Kinda makes you think they want to announce both simultaneously.
