So his not being a good DC is irrelevant bc he's going to be the HC. Yet he's never been a HC. So what the fuck are people actually celebrating with this?????

How can anyone defend the Gailey hire? The guy has been out of football, not the NFL, out of FOOTBALL for two years. You don't think there's a reason for that? He's horrendous, and now he's taking over an offense that was already pitiful.

Interesting. Bowles is Parcells guy. Plays a 3-4

Any Cardinals' players we would want Bowles to recruit?

Chan fucking Gailey? Oh for fucks sakes, why do I put up with this fucking team? They legitimately never learn.

As soon as I read Gailey, I suddenly became 75% against this move. We go from Kyle Shanahan to Chan Gailey and get a worse defensive mind? Jesus the Jets are a dumpster fire of a mess...

Bowles is a great hire. This guy ran the D with Bruce Arians paying more attention to offense, having said that that D was fantastic compared to the talent.

There is actually no way to defend your position regarding your Quinn versus Bowles. None, zero nada. Have you by chance seen BB offense, in as much as he epitomizes a DC?

Well he had a reputation as a great OC, just not a good HC. Ask Bill Cowher. A perfect fit for a first time HC like Bowles. A lot of experience.
    Think Norv, Kubiak type

It also seems like Bowles demeanor fits that of our new GM. While I wanted Quinn, this seems like a more logical GM/HC fit.

When did Gailey ever have a reputation as a good OC?

Cromartie saying that Bowles is one of smartest coaches he's ever been around. And scheme is similar to Rex. So defense won't have to change much

He's only been out of the league 2 years - but I'll tell you one thing - if one guy right now is happy about this hire - it's Geno Smith. Gailey brings the Spread-like offense.

Jesus fucking christ their defense has more pro bowlers on it than ours does and it was not good this year.

Bad hire. At least it wasn't Marrone (I'm shocked it wasn't Marrone - he must have really rubbed Woody the wrong way). It doesn't bother anyone else that this guy never spent more than three years anywhere?

EDIT: Fine, fixed - three years, not two years

Only in your weird ass logic is he not a good DC. Bowles has been a DC for two years, outside of half a season as the Eagles DC. In those two years his defense ranked 7th and 5th for Points Scored Against per game. How did The Great Rex Ryan's defense do the last two years? 19th and 24th during the same years and Arizona did it in a better conference.
