I wish the players read this thread to see the panic in a practice being mysteriously canceled. This would be printed out and handed to the whole organization for a laugh.
This is probably the funniest thing in this thread outside of "Woddy" While I can see the theorists side of things, and I even hope it's true, it just seems to fantastic that we could have snuck half our staff and a few wiley vets down to Mississippi/ Green Bay, and literally avoided every soul on the planet finding out about it? come on now. Now if we didn't fly down there, but we made some kind of a short drive, to an undisclosed non-public location in a random place, like say pennsylvainia, and Cook flew Farve up, on Woddy's dime, now we are talking. Both sides have an excuse if they are caught, Farve is going to a summer home in PA to pick up a few things for TC, and the Jets are on a team building excercise. Hmm... I think it just might have played out like that.... but in reality stepping away from the theorists side of things, Mangini prolly just tossed in a day of rest...While it seems weird and coincidental, and incredibly unlikely, it of course is the more likely scenario...
