The proof is how Chad played for us when healthy and how much we won w/ him. Anyone who watched the man when he was here and sen how well he has played so far this year could tell you that. Add that to the fact that the QB position is clearly waht is holding back our O and obviously a healthy Chad who knows this O would result in more wins.

Wasn't very often and you can bet if Chad took 10% of the shots that Favre has taken he would be out for the season. Pennington is asked to do a lot less for the Dolphins than Favre is asked to do for us. Pennington in Shotty's O was an INT machine as well the difference is he didn't get TD's for us. When Hackett was here and asked Pennington to manage primarily a balanced O where the pass was set up by the run and when he was healthy he was very good. So far that's what he has been asked to do in Miami and they still have a lossing record and their D has played better than their O. The Dolphins are 12th in pts allowed and 23 in scoring pts.
Actually the Chad Fans don't bother me like they used to. They are more pathetic than annoying. It's as if they are in denial, can't accept that he's gone and is not coming back. Wow.

junc, So you answered me that the job of the QB is to win games and not to score points. Thats fine, then you must stick to that logic when answering me this. If Favre's job is to win games, then he did his job in the Miami game, the Bengals game, AND the KC game. So what is the job of the QB? If its to throw TD's: Favre = 15 Penny = 7 If its to score any offensive TD's: Jets 2008 = 21 TD's Fins 2008 = 17 TD's If its to win games? Which is what you CLEARLY stated in your response to my last post. Favre 2008 4-3 Penny 2008 3-4 AND with a loss TO Favre. Favre is playing better no matter how you slice the QB's job. You can skew these with "garbage points" statements all you want. It's clear that Penny is not some sort of amazing QB. The only thing Favre is doing worse than Penny is turning the ball over. But Favre is still throwing more TD's, leading his team to more TD's, scoring more points, and winning more games. But yes Penny is clearly playing like a Pro Bowler and Favre is clearly horrible.
Oh and Penny wouldn't be taking all those shots because hes more decisive? That hasn't worked in 5 of his 6 NFL years as a starter? He's missed multiple games in EVERY year except for 2006. So once again, you don't use numbers to support your claim. You just LIKE him which is fine. Just admit it! I admit it, I LIKE FAVRE.
