Last year has nothing to do with now. Buffalo is fucking horrible, beyond horrible. The Vikings now have a rusty year older favre and no recievers. they will be a force, but not now.
Lol @ Finheaven.com. "Go deep" "get splashed"...with the color sceme and phrases like that one might think they stumbled on a gay porn site.
Wow look at that gay shark go,must be a dolphin fan because he is loving the pile driving by the gay fish
last year doesn't dictate this year. if things simply stayed constant, the Fins wouldn't be 2-0, but you are because you are probably better than you were last year. conversely, the Vikings are 0-2 and are obviously much worse than last year. you didn't beat last season's Vikings, you beat this season's Vikings. big difference. you obviously didn't watch the Vikings against the Fins or Saints if you don't think they are a bad team.
I see your point, but I can tell you that last year we were 3-5 on the road, being 2-0 while having 5 home games in the last 8 is certainly a good thing. We lost in Buffalo last year, so I wasn't circling that game is an "easy W" It was a huge win from a confidence standpoint, for the young team that we have.
The team struggled against the defending champs and against Miami, a really physical football team. This hardly makes them bad. It's ridiculous overreacting by the media, which football fans eat up, that's different.
I'm not saying you shouldn't be excited about it and happy that your team is capable of pulling out such a victory, but you can't look at last years Vikings team and promote the Fins victory based on that team. This years Vikings team doesn't look so good. that's who you beat. compare that to the Jets. the Patriots looked great week one, and if that is an accurate indicator of their ability, defeating them reveals how good the Jets probably are. of course, no real analysis of a team's ability can be drawn from two weeks, but you do get a good basis to start from. the Jets looked terrible and looked great against good teams, both of which probably aren't as good as many people think they are but are still good teams. the Fins looked, at best, okay against two teams that don't look very good at all. even at 1-1, the Jets have come out of the first two games against better competition with an overall better performance than the Fins.
I don't understand something. The fins defense get no credit for Minnesota's poor play. What if Minnesota put up 30, does that make Miami better? Seriously, there's no win for Miami here.
Even at 1-1, the jets have been the epitome of inconsistent. And you are 1-1 at home, Miami is 2-0 on the road. I've asked this question about 5 times now, and noone will answer (because the answer isn't in the Jets favor)...would you prefer Miami's start or the Jets start to the season? I don't think anyone with a lick of sense would rather start a season 1-1 at home as opposed to 2-0 on the road.
nobody answered it because it is irrelevant. who wouldn't prefer to start 2-0. but starting 2-0 isn't an indicator of how good a team is in and of itself. the Bucs are 2-0, BFD. I'd take an inconsistent two games rather than a consistently average two games, because the Jets have the ability to be great by indication of their two games, whereas the Fins may be just as good as they've played -- average. over the course of the season, that won't be enough.
ahhh you are right. I thought about that after i posted. That was the Toronto game. my bad. but still you get my point! As bad as the Bills suck, neither of our teams can just assume it's a win against them.
I disagree completely. You have no idea which jets team you're going to get from week to week. To be fair though, Miami really doesn't either, it's week 2. You're assuming you can be at or near the level you were last week consistently. I'm not buying that yet. I don think you can make definitive statements on how you will play through 16 games when your ceiling and basement are as high and low as they've shown throughteo games.
