I honestly don't see a problem with giving him a shot. Yeah he's immature, but he's young, and he wanted out of Detroit. I'm sure he knows that he has to act different on a new team. And I'm sure he knows that if he gets released from a second team, no one will take him. Plus we need young talent and that's what he has to offer.
