Only if felching means "inject with stem cells and HGH."

FTR, I have a Twitter account. And it's actually more conversational on there than here.

Basically, what you're saying is: "Well, when people post, they should post the way I want them to post, otherwise they shouldn't post here at all."

    Talk about narcissism.

As for not being "able" to explain myself:

    1) I will explain myself if I feel a need to, which I didn't in this conversation.
    2) If I wanted to support my case I'd point out how much better the Brewers are this year at home than on the road. I'm sure they'd think HFA was worth winning.

Of course, then you'd start with "sample size" and write a wall of text baiting me into a response yet again and everyone else would moan behind their monitors as we fill up two more pages of nonsense to simply say:

Alio: "I want home field. Period."
Cappy: "Home field isn't all that important."

The end result being, it's not a conversation. It's talking at each other.

When I wrote it I stopped for a second and thought "Is that even a word?" Then "Who cares? It sounds great in this context!"
    --------------

As for Big Bart, I wouldn't do anything for him to regain his first half. AJ, Bartolo, and Garcia can felch each other in October for all I give a damn. CC, Nova, Hughes is my October rotation. Bring up Banuelos, Betances, and Montero and send Posada packing with those starters.

That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm just saying that when people post on a message board like this, they should expect replies. You are free to explain your position if you want. Or not. There's no obligation on your part. If you don't want to have a conversation, don't respond. Seems pretty simple to me.

Right. I "bait" you into responding, thus absolving you of any responsibility. Gotcha. Again: If you don't want to have a conversation, don't have one.

Your assessment of the positions in this conversation is pretty accurate except for one thing: The past two pages weren't really talking about HFA. Not directly, anyway. Here's your first post in this thread:

You said above that you explain yourself when you feel you need to, and that you didn't feel the need to here... but your very first post in here was an attempt to explain your feelings.

You'll also notice my response didn't quote or disagree with your opinion about wanting HFA. I quoted and disagreed with the final paragraph only, which was your attempt at explaining how it works or why you think it's important (as though people who disagree with you aren't considering these allegedly "non-statistical" things like who they're playing). That's pretty much been the focus of any of my posts that followed: this bastardization and/or demonization of "statistical analysis."

Seriously. Go back and skim my posts if you don't believe me.

great job by the boys on the road trip, won both series, they have 3 at home with oakland now, and then 5 with baltimore, i think the 11-4 i asked for is doable.

    Yankees vs. Texas: 7-2
    Yankees vs. Boston: 2-10
    Boston vs. Texas: 0-4

The Yankees are 3-4 against Detroit, but I'd rather take my chances there this year. Let's get that home field and let Texas lose on Bronx turf this year.
