I wish Sanchez handled it like that when the dog & pony show here traded for Tebow before. Instead of letting it damage his psyche or his ability to play QB. Sounds to me like Sanchez is becoming a better professional
Mark wasn't damaged at all because the Jets signed Tebow. It just reflects on how much he was spoiled and how little competition he had. Mark was the starter. They put Tebow in for a few plays here and there and only allowed him to throw 8 passes. Tim should have been used in red zone packages but the Jets didn't even give him that.
It was inane that Rex and Sparano didn't use Tebow in goal line situations. Something the Eagles are talking about maybe doing. Esp. with a qb like Sanchez who regularly screwed up inside the red zone.
Wow the media COMPLETELY distorted the tone/tenor of Sanchez's quote. From what I initially heard it sounded like he was being flip since I heard he said 'we needed a camp arm in here' but the actual quote was nothing like that really. I think the media hate goes way too far here at times but it's impossible to defend in a case like this.
I think we should stop already looking for excuses for Mark again. His fans have been doing it for years now. He's not a kid anymore, He knew exactly what he was saying. Tim is a great guy but he's cannon fodder. It's not a compliment. And if Mark is bent out of shape that Tim is on the Eagles TS.
