For the same reason nobody's crying over Rod Gardner and Darnerian McCants. A majority of fans, I believe, want Patrick to do well, and won't waste much time lamenting what might have been. You still hear some talk about the Portis for Bailey deal, but that's pretty much old news too. If the Skins tank and the Jets win the Super Bowl, you indeed will be right. The issue is closed, really, barring that mutual outcome. Maybe the Jets can face the Skins in Super Bowl 41,2 or 3 and duke it out on the field. Othewise, the griping will come from the Ramsey camp. My thoughts now are on looking forward to how Brunell and Campbell do in the Saunders system.
Brunell's a misfit in that scheme and Campbell will suffer from system overload. Ramsey's the best combination of talent and experience for it . (giggle)
