Well, if the team did "give up" on Geno, Mark wouldn't get the call, he's hurt, Simms would start.

Expected it to be close but not a win, but fuck that was totally winnable. The defense played as good as you can be.

Geno was ok in the first have and got fucked over a few times but made some awful decisions in the 4th. Considering it's his second start, short week to prepare against Belichick in Foxboro in brutal conditions, I won't be as hard on him, but yeah he sucked but hopefully he'll learn.

The refs were horseshit. I don't know how that Gates TD got overturned or how the catch + fumble by Edelman got overturned, and the Hill call was borderline I swear I was expecting that dropped ball in the end zone for the Pats to hold up as a TD.

I never want to see Clyde Gates in a Jets uniform again. Two dropped TD passes in the first half that costed us the game as well as some other dropped passes. Worthless scrub.

    you dont bench your QB

Geno fell apart late in the game

he was doing fine when we were running the ball

Wasted a nice defensive effort, but I blame Rex for not having a DB out on Dobson on that TD from the first series. If we don't get suckered by that play, we could of won.

Yes the qb was solid when he as handin off the football. He imploded in the 4th qtr and his deep balls were beyond miserable

Wasted opportunity, but a learning experience. Geno played well (enough) for 3qtrs, came apart in the 4th.

I think their awful WRs made our D look better than it was, but we still played well on D and caused them to struggle on 3rd down.

I think over time Geno cuts down on the mistakes & hopefully next time he wins that game. I wasn't expecting a win, just a close game late with our D playing well. That mostly happened.

For all of his faults, I'd resign Braylon Edwards, and probably Ben Obamanu as well. Clyde Gates just ain't getting it done.

My thoughts: We should be 2-0 right now. We were in this game. That INT in the redzone took the wind out of our sails.

If our D can stay healthy, we are top 5. Absolutely brilliant.

Clyde Gates needs to be cut.

We can rest assure that when these assholes come to us in nj, they will not be the same team.

    agreed

the run game opens up the pass game, he had better holes in their D when they were looking for the run

    his deep balls need work

Bad days are on the horizon shit stain. Get your cameras. Or you're never going to see a championship again.

How's Hernandez hulled up? Nice guy. Great Patriot leader.

"Mark's won one game in his career in NE. His first game in NE was this:

8/21 fro 136 yards, 1 Td and 4 INTs (one pick 6 to start the game)

So let's just evaluate Geno off of Geno."

Well that was an ugly game but definitely a win is always worth it. Certainly the Jets could have won it but there were a lot of mistakes on both sides.

Yeah you need your WR/TE/RB back big time, but you have an easier stretch to start the season, so it's good to have the problems now when you can still pull out wins, albeit closer than you would like.

Going forward both teams need improvement with your ceiling much higher than ours. Good game, ugly game, that's some football for you. :)

Geno is raw...he will show glimpses but he does not make the quick decision. Not one slant pass. He had a few of them but doesn't trust when is supposed to happen if be can't see it first
