Agreed. You would think with a $100million offensive line, they could have OPENED A FUKIN" HOLE FOR HIM TO RUN THROUGH!!!!!!

this is an absurd post, i read the first 4 messages and i just cannot agree with the original poster. jones has had a burst, he has made moves in the hole and to avoid the tacklers. he has played very very well in my eyes. i would like to see him get the ball a few more times a game though.

and to blame him for our goal line issue last game is ABSURD.

"Big Guns" dont break arm tackles. Legs do. What you get from those massive arms he has are embarrassing stiff arms, which we see from time to time.

Jones may not be a top five RB, but he's not a bottom half one, either. I give him a B+.

that was clearly a type-o, not ignorance of an actual word. you have it in you, you can do better next time.

Jones is more like a C- running. whens the last time this guy has done anything good under pressure. I mean during those 3 runs during the pats games on the goaline. Why didnt he jump over everyone just like pretty much every runner does!! Why doesnt he ever break a tackle to get the first on a 3rd down. Everytime we throw to him on the flat, he'll get tackled by a cornerback. He isnt even that fast. Terrible! He is garbage for a starting runningback. HOWEVER, he does have good pass blocking skills for a RB.

Yeah, you're right, I remember all of those times Curtis Martin jumped over the top of a pile at the goal line. All zero of them.

But Curtis Martin is Curtis Martin ... He didnt have to, he was just that good. Thomas Jones however sucks and needs to do somethin different .. Oh and Curtis Martin is one of the best running backs ever soo think before you postttttttt

Are you joking? Can you remember when our O-line started falling apart? Curtis couldn't get yardage to save his life. He'd run right into the line and get stuffed. Curtis was great for us when he could find a hole, and ineffective when the hole wasn't there. He couldn't push the pile. 2 yards and done most times. He did not go over the top because he couldn't. He was a cutback runner just like Thomas Jones, a grind-in-out-over-25-to-30-carries type of back. He wasn't very fast, and didn't have many moves past the cutback. Your blanket statement up there is really pathetic. Like you have no idea what to say beyond 'Thomas Jones sucks and Curtis Martin was great'.

If I were to guess, I'd say you're about 14 years old. Maybe you were in grammar school when we picked Curtis up. Thank you for making me realize what a waste of keystrokes you are.

how about this San Diego Chargers game you are on the haha and i laugh when i say this Quarter yard line and they dont give you the ball to punch it in for a extra point... then you down inside the 10yard line and you can get three yards come on you guys are gonna realize sooner or later... Look at Ronnie Brown Miami Dolphins running all threw the Same Patriots defense and yet we shut him down... then look at Sproles from the chargers if you dont have the quick speed burst and ability to get threw the line and make a play in the secondary. you cant stay getting tackled by the defensive linemen and blame the O linemen sometimes you gotta make you own wholes and read cut back lanes

i know you heard of moving up in the draft didnt we do the same thing to get Keller???? now if you traded that back and a future pick and the 4th pick in the first anything is possible when your in the top 6 you can get who you want if you really want to... doesnt a pick by the name of Dewayne Robertson ring any bells you do know that dont you?
