Yeah, I pretty much agree with this. I don't think anyone expected this to be a game, especially with the Jets injuries. I thought we played tough and I am incredibly relieved that we didn't get humiliated on National TV.

Just frustrating that we're always so limited by the shortcomings of our QB. I know that the Jets have MANY other problems but I don't believe they will ever be above average with Sanchez unless we have a top 5 ground game to cover his deficiencies.

Jets fans happy with the loss because they didn't get blown out. S.O.J.

How could you come away from that game happy? QB played terribly, defense got ran all over. An idiotic onsides call after a kick return TD when they were only down by 6 in the 3rd. That field position put the game out of reach.

Then a typical Sanchez pick to end any chance of coming back.

Yeah real happy with that performance...

Special teams and Cromarties pick kept the Jets in the game, Sanchez again completed under 50% of his passes. Sanchez's HUGE pick on the goal line was an enormously demoralizing 10 point swing.

No one is "happy"..I'd say grudgingly accepting they did better than we expected them to under the circumstances.

Nothing during this game indicated we are ready for a QB change.

Watt made a great play, Sanchez was throwing to the space where the open receiver was. Its not like he could have floated that one either.

A fumble, a two picks (should've been more), missing a wide open Cromartie for a gimme TD, under 50% completion % again, failure to lead the team on the final drive. Yeah he was excellent, more games like this from Sanchez and we may win four games.

With guys like you nothing is ever Sanchez's fault... Maybe you stop trying to throw it over the guy who can jump 14 feet in the airs head? How many times did Watt tip Sanchez?

Yep, Schaub, with help from Andre Johnsons drop.

Hey, the Jets played pretty decent. But I thought the Texans pretty much either mailed it in last night or aren't nearly as good as we thought they were.

    You sound stupid.

Look at Watts pass deflected total at end of season and talk to me. Every QB is gonna get victimized by him...cause he's a straight out beast. Someday, when you grow up and put on your big boy pants, you'll realize there's a time where you have to give the other team credit.

QB's all over the NFL throw picks and win games...Brady, manning, everyone. get over it.

You mean the fumble where he had 2 secs to throw and got stripped sacked from behind?
    Thats not the OL's fault?

I would bet after getting picked off most QBs aren't dumb enough to keep trying to throw it over Watts head, Sanchez actually did it AGAIN on the last play, got tipped four times by Watts.

Sorry but Sanchez has a knack for the enormously deflating swing pick and lacks the ability to overcome them like a Brady does.

Also Sanchez had two picks, a fumble, under 50 % completion. Those are facts, not your simple feel good euphemisms, facts of his play that loses games, and how he's performed all season. He was terrible and there are multiple reasons why the coaching staff is discussing right now about replacing Sanchez.

But enjoy your not humiliating defeat, I'm sure you're thrilled with it. SOJ and SOJ fans...

Well clearly it's not Sanchez's right, the guy in your eyes clearly does nothing wrong.

Yes it was closer than many expected, but the redzone folly continues.
The Bottom Line: In their home stadium, the Jets scored one offensive touchdown...one.

    Redzone
Here's the problem. We have no real running threat except Tebow. If Sanchez is QB in the redzone, the defense knows we are going to pass. If Tebow is QB in the redzone, they know we are going to run. Too predictable.

I know everyone is on different sides of the aisle on this one but just think we were only a few plays away from winning this game . Now I have been a big Sanchez supporter and lately been questioning my own faith in him but lets face reality if those tipped passes didnt take place then everybody would be singing a different tune . As far as onside kicks and the incomplete pass to Cro hey if they had caught both it would have been genius not idotic like most people claim . I think whats most important is this team has to fight it out every week and as a Jets fan I feel they proved that they will . Dont get me wrong I would be most happy with more wins but hindsight is always 20/20 and we are seriously undermanned and outgunned with the injuries and deficiencies we are facing but I think it was well coached for the simple fact that we did what we could to stay in the game . I have been a fan for years and there is only one thing I hate more than losing games and thats losing games because they dont care and give up . If they fight like they did I dont care how ugly it might seem I am gonna support the team and be their biggest fan because as long as they dont give up I wont either .

QB's need to protect the football, the pocket completely collapsed and he's holding the ball out to his right low, idiotic and absolutely partly his fault.

The QB led us to 10 points the entire game. The QB has led us to an average of 8PPG the last 4 games. The QB has has around a 40% completion percentage the last 4 games.

I honestly think we would do better with McElroy.

I'm happy we beat the spread against arguably the best team in football. Last week the jets looked like a bunch of losers this week they were in it the whole game. JJ Watt is the reason we lost it he played like the best defensive player in the NFL last night if he's not already.
With a favorable schedule down the stretch playoffs aren't out of the question we just need that W against Luck and the Colts next week and our seasons back on track.
