You would think that Namath and Ryan would be kindred spirits. Both are fond of giving "guarantees". Maybe that is what pisses Joe Willy off, he is the Jet to give a guarantee not Rex. That and Namath did back his up.
Geez you hate to think that about the guys, but this is a good point. 50 years of being something is hard to shake.
these namath haters are ridiculous. First they don't think he should be allowed to make any honest comments about how poorly the Jets were playing at the start of the season, now he isn't supposed to be allowed to make a joke about Rexy - even though Rexy loves Joe and jokes about himself all the time. Give it a rest haters.
Not a Namath hater, but it's clear that he's aggressively self-publicising over the past year or two. New website, strong twitter presence, popping up on TV, radio, saying controversial things for attention. I can only assume he's selling something on his website, but not interested enough to check.
