Accountants arent bean counters first off. Some are but they are the basic staff entry accountants. At least get your facts right before you make fun of accountants.

All I'm saying is, there are a lot of teams that would have taken the Jets success over the past 3 years than their own. Nobody was complaining he was a "cap geek" when everyone was saying we would only be able to sign one of Revis/Harris/Mangold/Brick and he managed to sign all four, or when people said we'd only be able to sign one of Cro, Holmes, or Braylon and he resigned Holmes then figured out a way to get under the cap enough for Nnamdi too.

And all I'm saying is, this guy shouldn't be within a mile of making a football-related (i.e.) personnel move. This "bad ass" team of 2009 is now a punching bag of a team that can't stop the run, that gets pushed around. I never thought I'd see that in a Rex Ryan team. And it begins with the GM who puts it together. Jerry Reese he ain't. Reese knows a football player when he sees one. Blame Sanchez, blame Rex, whatever. It starts with the GM. Today was a humiliating punch in the face....oh and Woody, did ya see those large blocks of 49'er fans, the 49'er chants?....you're in deep shit Johnson. PSL's? ...that's the least of your snowballing problems Mr. Back Page.

We need a whole new line backing core outside of Harris. OLB's who can actually rush the passer.

    We need a RT.

We need a speed/play making running back.

We need a receiver who can stretch the field and actually catch the football.

    and... probably a new QB.

Oh and trading Hunter was a after-the-fact move, this after Tannenbaum gave him a nice guaranteed contract....the same guy who was a glaring weakness last year. Tannenbaum is NOT a 'football' guy. He's a cap geek. must go.//

ur right he isn't a football guy we need a football guy though

Austin Howard has done a pretty good job, if he keeps it up I would keep him as the starter he's only gonna get better

I'm tired of hearing "Nick Mangold is the best Center in the league". He isn't. He hasn't played at that level in two years.

I was a huge Tanny supporter prior to this season. I didn't always agree with his moves, but I understood the rationale. I can't defend him at this point. This team's depth is egregious, and at this point, barring a significant trade, I don't see us winning more than 7 games.
