Grogan, you intrigue me. Most people like to spend time (whether in the real world or the virtual one) with people who like them or at least respect their opinions, yet you do the exact opposite.

I'm all for individuality, but I would honestly like to know what you get out of it. Is it just baiting fans of another team that gives you a thrill? If so, isn't that something you should have left behind in childhood?

If you think you have no choice may I point out that you can actually leave anytime you want? You don't have to stay here, so if we get nothing out it, and you get nothing out of it, why do you come here?

This is said with no malice, just genuine puzzlement.

Someone made a list of players the Pats have that are old. That list was this:
    Junior Seau
    Tedy Bruschi
    Rodney Harrison
    John Lynch
    ect.....

You replied indicating that these players were already here or were brought in for depth and not to start. Now, the last time I checked, Rodney Harrision was and is your starting safety and was "brought in" a few years ago, as was Seau who you indicated would not start this coming year in place of Mayo.

Now, I know Boston has a rich tradition of reading dating back to well before that famous old bookseller Henry Knox would become our first Secretary of War but always remained faithful to his Boston bookselling roots, but I think, despite the obvious handicap of having learned to read in New York, that I am "reading" and "understanding" your post correctly here, am I not?

Jet fans have been saying this every off-season for the last 7 years. Look the great thing about reality is that you can't argue with it, and Jet fans like yourself can call me names, say I'm stupid, or whatever you want, but Reality is still on it's way. So enjoy the heck out of your 40th consecutive off-season Championship, you have about two weeks left, then Back to reality boys.

There is one team in the NFL that has lost a meaningful game in 2008, the Pats.

Well if you can carry on a rational conversation so can I, yet it seems most all Jet fans here want to do is talk about how they are going to the Super Bowl and the Pats are going to fall apart. That's just not reality, and wouldn't be no matter who my own team was. Let me put it this was, would you as a Jet fan be happy with 8-8 this upcoming season?

Even a bad troll can carry on a limited "rational" conversation. At least if you were entertaining it would be worth having you around.

As a fan all anyone can ask for their team to have a shot at winning it all every season, there are on average maybe 8 teams actually do and 24 teams that want to belive they do. As for the loss in the Super Bowl, I don't know maybe it's me, but I belive it would have hurt me more if they lost in 01, it sucked sure, but I had no problem lifting a glass to the Giants. They are a class organization, they played better than the Patriots did and won. That's football.

Actually I haven't said that once over the past 7 years. If you want to go back and find the season prediction threads from last year I actually predicted the Pats to go undefeated. This is not the same team as last year, there D is old and it shows. The O will be good but not record setting good like last year. Face it, the Pats are vulnerable this year and it must suck that the best years for them are now tarnished without much hope for the future.

This proves it. You definitely were not alive when Grogan was the QB.

  15. Lost in this prick's ridiculous tirade...is if the jets are so irrelevant and miniscule compared to the patriots...why the hell is he here? If the supposed "40 years of losing" is so apparent..why even bother? Surely the mighty Pats fan can tilt their nose at such a group of "irrelevant" fans.

Realistically speaking the Giants showed the blueprint to beat the Pats. Realistically our team can go 8-8,9-7 or 10-6 depending on how the chips fall. The difference is with Bf at Qb we have a punchers chance of beating you every time we play unlike years past. There will be no deer in the headlight look when he lines up under center like years past. We played you tough with no Qb for the last few years lets see how we do with the one with the most T/D passes of all time against your aging depleted secondary. What do you think the reality of that situation? Please be advised Farve will be looking at your weak secondary not Pennington.

Brady's foot is only messed up because he was playing "Guess: is it my foot or a gerbil up your ass?" with his boyfriend, and there was an unfortunate accident.

Unfortunate for Brady, that is. The rest of us are laughing at the queen of the razors.

Good point. I wonder if he is making the same comments on the Charger and Colt fan sites.

I wonder if he even knows that both of their CBs from last year (Samuel and Gay) are gone. That doesn't bode well when you face a gunslinger like Favre.

I don't think that point was ever up for debate. He wasn't even a Pats fan when Favre beat them in the Super Bowl.
