Since they changed the rules for contact with the receivers his play has gone way, way downhill. He was though a terrific bump & run guy in his hey day

I'll swallow my pride and curtail my "Rent-A-Whore" comments on Law for the time being. We ought to be able to bring him in for a lot less than we paid last time and he'd definately be a good signing for depth and tutoring purposes.

I'd still draft another corner though, and let Law mentor him too, while filling in on the field. My only negative on the guy was that he put on a little weight and lost a step or two the last time he was here, which caused him to gamble more. He turned the secondary into a feast or famine exhibition, whereby he either picked the ball off or completely missed the WR altogether and got us unmercifully torched.

If he's coming here, Mangini's got to have him settle down and just be a good cover again, which I'm sure he's still capable of despite losing a step or two.

Law is fat, old and slow. In addition, hes not considered a high character guy and he will demand more money than he is worth. In addition, he stinks of Herm. THere is no way this would be a good move. I hope that all we're doing is driving up the price for NE.
