On those three I totally agree.

I still say Gholston is a bust!

Erik Smith looked great against Houston, Was almost everywhere. He might be the main guy Rex turns into a player. Excited to see how he does against the patsie's.

I think there were 2 passes that could have gone either way. The tipped ball was a free play, it would have come back if it was picked, but that was a rookie mistake. Players in college aren't coached nearly as much to get their hands up because O-lines don't hold a pocket nearly as well at that level.

The other one was Sanchez' first pass of the game to Stuckey, the one that was defended by Dunta Robinson. That one could easily have been a pick if he had thrown it a 10th of a second later. However, I think that one was also a rookie mistake due to not reading the coverage well. He had the velocity, but if he had placed the ball slightly behind Stuckey, people on this board are breaking out the knob polish to how well he squeezed it through there. I bet he learns a lot from that incompletion in film sessions this week.

Was that the one that Leon defended at the last second? I can't remember at the moment.

    Nope.

Hartsock was wide open about 20 yards down field by the sideline and he underthrew it into the zone blitz coverage. Luckily d-linemen don't have good hands. No one was near Williams.

Haha, that's the one I was thinking of when I said there were 2 that could go either way, and totally forgot it was Super Mario that got his hands on it.
