I'm just curious as to if Amaro and Pryor turn out to be solid starters, and McDougal and Evans are contributors and IK or Trevor Reilly are special teamers does that still make him a terrible drafter? Because he missed on Jalen Saunders who lots of fans liked at the time? I'm not pro Idzik or anti Idzik I'm pro patience with young players. There's going to be a lot of people eating crow about Idzik and his horrible drafting if we get 3 quality starters out of that draft.
I don't think Woody is strong willed enough to keep a guy that has a billboard calling for his fire. I think other owners do or perhaps other owners just don't have to deal with piss poor fans that do this.
Piss poor fans are complacent and will put up with anything. Adults aren't afraid to speak out when something is wrong, in fact they feel an obligation to do so. Being a good fan is not about sunshine, lollipops and rainbows like you want it to be. How many discussions have you had with Woody Johnson that enables you to determine that he doesn't have the will to win?
My thoughts was more for all those fans who will be as frustrated as we are now over the failure of the NYJs to achieve anything in he forthcoming years
WJ resume is really weak so lets do a recap. He has hired Belly who walked out on him, Groh who also walked out on him, Then there was the preacher who preached well but could not win nothing, Then there was Mangini who was more worried about spies then winning anything & then there RR plenty of BS but clearly no substance. For GM 1st it was Dumbway nothing more has to be said about him, Tanny was Tanny, Izzy well was just plain terrible. So we add all that up WJ comes up as one dumb billionaire who should really not be owning a FB team when there are such sharks as Kraft in the same league with U
Yeah I think the only reason the backlash against Idzik was as high as it was (his bad job aside) is precisely cause he short-changed Rex (pun intended) who was still popular with the fanbase. Granted Geno's also gotten two years and most fans want him out so it does seem like there is more impatience in general though.

The firejohnidzik.com crew and our supporters represented some of the best fans the Jets have. That fool in Virginia who has never been to a Jets game purchased that domain name as a money grab hoping to sell it and cash in someday. One of the biggest wastes of money in the history of the planet. When we started - we wanted fireidzik.com but it was already taken. So we bought firejohnidzik.com... Once he saw the site go up, we got an email within 24 hours with the guy trying to sell it. We said "no thanks". Meanwhile... Junc and Mo just continue to act like children and can't fold a losing hand. We did what we felt was necessary as fans to support the team. Planes, billboards, towels, banners... And we would have done plenty more if that buffoon Idzik was brought back. Regardless of how much our campaign effected Woody's decision to fire Idzik and clean house, at the end of the day - Idzik: Gone. Rex: Gone. Bradway: Gone. Woody brought in 2 highly respected football minds who got us a GM with a personell background and the 2014 assistant coach of the year - both local Jersey guys. And we will never have to suffer through a Bradway draft again. Stop. Crying. We ALL got what we wanted. And if this isn't what you wanted, then it is YOU who are the idiot.
