This guy probally watches the foley-radier game over and over and then falls a sleep with his thumb in his mouth.

A smart quarterback with an 10 cent arm>>> A Quarterback with a rocket arm and a 10cent head. Chad has proven that.

GlennFoley has horrible timing (and worse taste in QBs), but he's right about Chads arm. I don't know if something is wrong with his shoulder again or what, but his passes have nothing to them. He's doing the best with what he has, and so far that has been good enough, but I don't believe he has the arm strength to take us where we all want to be.

And before you jump me, I like Chad a lot. If his shoulder wasn't shot, he'd be one of the greats. But the situation is what it is, folks.

    If it wasn't for Chad

we'd be nowhere. He smart, tough and a leader. He played well yesterday. We're lucky to have him. Honestly, you'd rather have Ramsey starting?

I wonder if that turf burn on his throwing hand is still bothering him.

I'm quite impressed with his performance this year, although he worries me from time to time. But still, we're 5-4, and might even be 10-6 this year. Not bad, considering it might buy us in the playoffs,

The supposed "lack of arm strength" really baffles me. Every now and then, he'll launch a beauty of a long bomb (that dropped pass to Coles was pretty damn good), so we know his arm has the "strength" to do it. I just don't understand why he tosses up floaters so often. Maybe it has less to do with his surgically-repaired arm, which would seem like the logical problem, but more to do with improper throwing mechanics or something.

wow, after the long passes XChad has thrown and our record 5-4, people still write this garbage? GlenFloey, should find something else to do rather than this useless drivel. How many of us expected the Jets to be 5-4 at this point. Our only game that we had no chance was the Jacksonville loss.Think about the robbery in Cleveland and the almost win against the Colts and you can see that this team has played a lot better than anyone expected. With no running game, a Questionable O line and a useless pass rush and a non existent D, we are only 5-4.
It looks like the Redskins will have a worse record than we will and we will get a high second round draft pick. I am proud of our team and our QB who noone gave a chance after two shoulder surgeries.

yeah, he really showed how great he was and what a mistake it was to trade him by becoming a Pro Bowler in Seattle. I guess Holmgren hated him too.

Glenn Foley--coulda been a HOF'er had only his coaches liked him.

Son of a bitch! The trade deadline is over. I guess we are stuck with lame ass Pennington. Coulda traded for Kyle "Big Arm" Boller.

going forward I would much rather have a QB with poise, timing, touch and accuracy that a QB who can hit the long bomb every know and again and look good on the highlights reel.

Chad has show this season that he can get the longthrows done if he has to. Yesterday he overthrew Coles on one long play. His arm is not a cannon but it gets the job done. But you are forgetting all the plus points he brings with his accuracy and leadership.

I beleive in Chad. He can take us to the big show if we have the tools.

:eek:hmy: pretty much right on the money.

chad is to qb what marty schott is to head coaches. he can manage a good team into the playoffs, but you won't go anywhere once you get there.

if you are satisfied with just making the playoffs, then he's your guy.
if you want to see another jets lombardi trophy and rings, he won't get you there.

throwing rainbows up and having cotch, baker, or coles perform miracle plays hardly means he has the physical ability to win a super bowl.
