    the thing that drives me crazy about the former leaders is the squared off right side on the bottom and the following of the g on the left side. it makes the entire thing seem completely uneven. not sure if it bothers anyone else but it drives me nuts.

    My poor olllllld photoshop is no match for these guys , very frustrating.

    Sorry, mate, but you're really fighting an uphill battle there. Those guys are pros who specialize in logo/identity design.

    P.S. Logos are done in Illustrator, as they have to be in a scalable vector format.

    I like the first one from the new contender, that is a damn nice design. I don't like any of the ones with the Jet in the logo.

    Like it alot.

    (Not wishing to derail this thread)
    Does anyone know what kind of illustrator these guys use ?
    I absolutely love doing stuff like this but have become so frustrated because theres just so much I can actually do with my 'tablets of stone' progs.

    my i suggest the logo with the jet plane pointed UP and not DOWN.....

    The more I think about this the less I like the idea of having jets in the logo. The site's name has nothing to do with 'jets' at all, so having a jet there makes little sense.

    The Jets' logo doesn't even have jets in it.

    By that logic a giant turd makes sense in the logo. After all, the BS forum has made this board:smile:

    Best logo to date, IMO.

    I know you're leaning towards not having "Jet" in the logo, Petro.....but you can't go wrong with this one either. :)
