Really? Aside from the Royal Rumble at MSG, every time I've seen him recently he's had a ton of heat. I was under the impression he was only popular with the internet wrestling community.

    I hate Edge's mic-work.

I believe there is a few other wrestlers that don't get the mic enough as it is. Jericho and Carlito are two of them.

If you take the obnoxiousness out of his shtick he'd be money. I think if you put him in as a guy that screws the doosh type heels (JBL), the fans would come around really quick on him. In a way, he reminds me of Triple H way back in the day, before DX and everything got him to superstar status. Too bad the WWE closed that road already.

Edge is an awesome mic talent, but needs to remain a heel. He and Triple H will be set for a great run with the WWE title now.

As for Jericho, I don't know where to go with him. They're obviously using the HBK thing to send him back into the heel role, where he belongs, but it's painful to watch for the most part. I see Jericho and Batista going at it, but Batista will bring down the overall effect of Jericho. That's the biggest problem with Jericho, there aren't many guys in the entire business that can hang with him through a promo.

RAW in less than an hour...

I can't remember the last time I was actually eagerly anticipating a non-PPV WWE event...

Kudos to Vince & Co., I hope they keep up the good work...

I don't know if I'll be watching tonight. I'm DVRing it while I watch the Home Run contest, and I've never watched the Derby before. I just don't share Beamen's enthusiasm.

    That was ridiculously lame...

When he came down, and the crowd was backing away from him, I was thinking, "Nice, Kane's got his old badass persona back."

And then he fucking apologizes? Weak... What was the bag he was holding, by the way?

What, you guys thought the WWE writing team knows what they're doing?

    My guess...

He wants to know if the "old" Kane is dead. I predict the mask is in the bag.

^ Wow, I like that.... If that's what it is, I like it a lot better than Paul Bearer or McMahon or some garbage like that...

You think he'd put on the mask before the match with CM Punk?

    EDIT..

Well, if WWE is looking to bring stables back, this is the way to go... Rhodes, DiBiase and JBl vs Cena & Cryme Tyme? I could see both of those groups feuding for a while... Should be decent...

I hope so. As I said above in one of my posts, I think he lost that edge when they took the mask off of him. I don't care if he can't breathe in it, he looked damn cool...lol.

A few weeks ago, the story would have been for Rhodes and Dibiase to beat up Duggan. Now, they humiliate him even worse than any ass whipping without lifting a finger. I like it.

And how about Josh Hamilton, goddamn! The remote's been busy tonight.

New prediction with Kane...he'll lose, then flip out and beat the crap out of someone and then reach into the bag and pull out the mask and put it back on.

Ok, maybe that's just what I WANT to happen, but it doesn't sound that bad...lol.

^^ I think you're right.... Cole kept talking about how Kane had a split personalities, schizopheqria or Jekyl/Hyde thing going on... Seems right...

A possible heel-turn for Batista here? I'd dig that- he hasn't been a heel since he was in Evolution

Great, now Kane screws Batista at the Bash. Well, as long as the reign goes on another week.

I still say it's the mask in the bag. I agree, when Batista's about to pin Punk at the Bash, the flames shoot up and Kane comes out in his old look, mask and all. I hope
