According to everyone here all Schotty does is call the same plays over and over. Do you honestly believe Bill Bellichick can't figure out what a bunch of clowns (myself included) here can by watching the TV footage?

The Pats played great and the Jets played like shit. Players switch teams all the time. Remember when the dominant Chris Baker went to the Pats? Funny, we beat the Pats the next time we played them. He was far more involved in the Jets offense in his time here than woodchuck.

    This was a factor.

There's a reason teams put certain clauses in trades. Minny put a fee on the Jets if they traded Favre to the Bears. I believe we put in some language to prevent Vilma from going from NO to NE. It's not because these teams think "oh no! We don't want to play him, he'll be mad at us and play well!" It's because the players know the playbooks, the philosophies, the tendencies, the weaknesses, etc.

Woodhead is a friggin' elf. The only reason he's an NFL player is because he works and studies like a bastard. In his time with the Jets, he played running back, slot receiver, wide out, punt returner, kick returner, and gunner. He learned a good chunk of that playbook.

So then, shit gets cerebral. Schotty knows that Bill Belichick has the Cliff's Notes to the 2010 Jets playbook. The result of Schotty's attempt to outwit Bill Belichick is the foreign, uncoordinated, disjointed display we saw last night.

So you guys think Danny Woodhead knew the Jets plays beforehand ?

The Jets don't change plays ?

This is so silly, you think teams need someone to tell them the playbook when you can just get film of the last few years of the team?

Woodhead was a better fit for what NE does than he was for the Jets.

this thread needs to be changed to "The Patrick Turner Factor".....that asshole broke the leg of what i think is the most key piece in our secondary!!!....i think the leonhard injury was a hugeeee reason we played so flat....the gameplans were probably changed after he got hurt and the team was just depressed cuz they realize how important he is to us

Woodhead is extremely good with playbooks, actually. He showed up for the Pats mid-week and said he had the playbook down by the start of the next week. He is the perfect fit for the Patriots, though. The ability to go flawlessly from running back to slot receiver is great.

I think the general TV footage from the past 12 games have done as much to send the predictable playbook to the Patriots as Woodhead talking about to the Patriots.

this shit happens all the time.

if your coaching staff doesn't change this or anticipate or gameplan for this type of shit, you don't belong in the NFL. i guarantee every single coaching staff has a contingency for this type of situation.

It may have helped but if you give Belichick 11 days to prepare for a team he sees twice a year and beat him already, he's going to have a great game plan. And he has a Hall of Fame QB to execute it.

Where Woodhead hurt us was by being on the Pats in the first place and not the Jets. Yeah, I said it. Anyone who doesn't get that by now is delusional.

I disagree, I'd rather have McNight, who is useless, than Woodhead, who can run the ball, pick up blitzes, play special teams and catch the ball. Great move Jets. Oh wait, its Brian's fault, he is the O coordinator and director of player personnel too, right?

Its thanks to him we are 9-3!!!

So who would you take touches away from? Brad?? HELL NO

LT, ummm no. Shonn is a power runner so no their as well.

Maybe we take Holmes out, yea that's it.

The rosters are limited for a reason, he was only supposed to be gone a week anyway. They Trevor Pryced him on us.

McNight, I already said it. He could still play special teams.

Woodhead YTD has 355 yards rushing, 334 yards receiving and 4 TDs
Greene has 639 yards rushing and 72 yards receiving and 1 TD

On PASSING downs, I'd rather have Woodhead.

Oh and Greene has three fumbles, Woodhead has ZERO.

LT plays on passing downs, not Greene.

The inability to utilize a unique player with special talents has plagued us from the days Leon Washington was here.

    Touches-

Shonn has 153 carries, Woodhead has 66.

So you think Woodhead is better than LT and Shonn now?? You are delusional if that is the case.

Who cares at this point, this happened week 1 how long will this continue?

Will you talk to your grandchildren about the year we let Woodhead go??

I never said that, I said Woodhead was better than McNight, do you disagree?

Not saying he has to take away touches from Greene, but on 3rd downs he could have helped, he certainly helped our biggest division rival the Patriots. Right?

LT is the best and on passing downs they could BOTH be in!!! What purpose does McNight serve on the team?

McKnight is not as good right now, he is a rookie. McKnight has a much higher ceiling. I won't argue that Woodhead is better now though.

You're fighting an uphill battle on here bro but my thoughts are with you. And I mean uphill like scaling Whiteface Mountain in sandals.
